Welcome to the Nest - Carla's Baby Shower

On November 7th, my mom and sister threw me a GORGEOUS baby shower! They had it at Gallo's Seafood Restaurant in Philadelphia and everything was perfect from the food to the decorations! They know I love birds so it was little birdie themed (okay, that sounds weird, but you know what I mean!). It was ADORABLE! My mom and sister are two classy and creative kids!

It was wonderful to see all of my friends and family too! Many of which I only get to see when major events are celebrated like this. I'm looking forward to making more trips to Philly once little Carolina arrives so that I can see them all more.

Thank you again to everyone who came and for all of the lovely gifts! Everything is washed and in place. Just waiting for the baby to arrive!

Much Love!

The adorable invitation!

How beautiful are these centerpieces? Claudine and Mom made them!

Okay, I think my mom deserves a Martha Stewart Award for this beautiful chair she decorated! She plans on making Carolina Tutus with with the tulle until she is 30!

Claudine made these beautiful little dessert nests out of All Bran. I'm pretty sure all the guests who ate one are still very "regular!"

How cute is this cake? It tasted even cuter!!!!!! I love cake!

You can always find me hanging out by the dessert table at any party!

Mom and Aunt Margie

Carolina's first Juicy Couture outfit! I have worn anything "juicy" in 9 months and I don't think I have ever worn "couture!"

Jessica "crowns" me with my beautiful bow and paper plate hat! Why is this a tradition and can someone make it stop?! Those hats never look good on bloated, pregnant women!

Showing Off "THE BUMP" Around NYC

Lee and I had so much fun taking maternity pictures around NYC a few weeks ago. A friend from work who is not a professional photographer, just highly creative and talented, offered to do them for fun which made it even better! You know, I never in a million years thought I would be having my first child in NYC! It is such a big and crazy city but when I look at these pictures, I realize just how lucky we are to be having this experience. I can't wait for Carolina to get here so we can share this great city with her.

I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we do!

Central Park - We had no idea that the Pumpkin Festival scheduled!

This is one of my favorites! I feel like it really captures how in love and happy we are.

October in Central Park is stunning especially when Lee and I are walking around! JK!

The following pics were taken in SOHO in front of a grafitti wall that gets repainted throughout the year. So cool!

Bowling Green Subway Platform - The subway train Lee and I take to work everyday!

My sweet little baby cakes at 18 weeks!

Bathrooms along the Hudson! Rather strange photo op but rather fitting if you think about it! Pregnant women spend a lot of time in the restroom!
